Which product should I use to clean my wood that is oiled with Rubio Monocoat products?
Depending on which state your wood is in, you should use different products to maintain your wood. Follow the instructions below and take a look at our product overview.

Cleaning
If your wood just needs a frequent cleaning, you can use our microbiological cleaners All Natural Wood Cleaner or the spray form of the product. These cleaners contain microscopic bacteria that act as natural allies against dirt and grime. They make sure that your wood stays clean longer. Universal Soap is our regular soap to maintain your interior wooden floors. It's also available in a spray version Surface Care for your other wooden surfaces indoors.
For specific stains, we also have three stain removers. Stubborn lime stains can be handled effectively with Limespot Remover, grease stains with Grease Remover and black/tannin stains with Tannin Remover.
If your floor is showing signs of dirt and greasy soap residue that's not coming off with regular cleaning, you can turn to Deep Cleaner for an intense cleaning effect.
-
Maintenance / refresh
Is your wood showing signs of wear and tear that can't be solved with regular cleaning? Then you can either use Universal Maintenance Oil or Universal Maintenance Oil 2 Mix to freshen up your floors or Refresh Eco to freshen up your furniture.
In case the colour of the wood protection is fading, you should use Oil Plus 2C in the colour the object was originally treated with.
-
Renovation
Is your wooden surface in need of a thorough renovation? Then you can first clean the surface with Deep Cleaner and update your protection with a layer of Oil Plus 2C. If your wood was treated with Oil Plus 2C in the first place, then sanding is not necessary.
Exterior wood
-
Cleaning
Maintain your exterior wood with a regular cleaning. You can either use our nourishing soaps Exterior Soap and its spray version or our microbiological cleaners All Natural Wood Cleaner or the spray form. The latter are suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments and also make sure that your wood stays clean longer.

Maintenance / refresh / renovation
In case the dirt is more thorough or the protection/colour is fading, you can clean the surface with Exterior Wood Cleaner. Make sure you always treat the surface again with your chosen protective product in the original colour after a treatment with the Exterior Wood Cleaner. Sanding is usually not required.
