We earned the Taking Climate Action Site certificate, awarded by CO2logic and validated by Vinçotte, proving that we actively reduce and offset our carbon footprint every year.

The second edition of our Rubio Monocoat Atelier is bigger, better and exceeds our wildest expectations!

Global launch of our exterior wood oil DuroGrit

Launch of our newest product DuroGrit, based on our sustainable, revolutionary and patented FibreGrit technology. This makes the product very effective for outdoor wood protection, while still being very ecological.

Ecological efforts

Installation of 418 solar panels on the roof of our plant in Belgium. 

Start of our tree planting projects in the USA and Europe, resulting in over 37,000 trees planted to date.

Partner up with Aynimundo

Start of our partnership with Peruvian charity Aynimundo, where we help children and young people with disabilities

Our very first Rubio Monocoat Atelier edition is a huge success! 

Rubio Monocoat Atelier is an event and fair that brings together woodworkers, professionals and partners from across the globe. Through our charitable woodworking build-off, we also support Aynimundo.

Oil Plus 2C obtains the GreenGuard Gold certificate, proving that it’s a safe product suitable for schools and healthcare facilities.

Rubio Monocoat obtains the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold Label for Oil Plus 2C as first in the wood treatment sector.
