Aynimundo wins two national awards

Aynimundo, the Lima-based charity Rubio Monocoat has supported since 2022, has won two prizes in Peru’s 2026 “Inclusión y Discapacidad” awards. The competition rewards good practice in including people with disabilities. It is run by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP) through CONADIS, the national council for the integration of people with disabilities.

• Aynimundo took first place in the Education category for “Avanzando hacia la inclusión” (Moving towards inclusion), a project of its Centre for Diversity. 

• It took second place in the Employment and Entrepreneurship category for its project “From talents to opportunities”, which helps young people become more independent and find work.

For the team, the most important part is that the state now recognises their work, after 25 years with children and young people with and without disabilities.
