For each project, I first start with the Rubio Monocoat colour box, which contains all the existing colours. It is not an exact science. Each type of wood reacts differently to these shades, creating different nuances. If the perfect match is not in this colour box, I contact Rubio Monocoat and they continue working in their lab. This proactive collaboration and drive for true customisation make them a very valuable partner for me as an interior designer.
